The celebration can begin! The first wheels are turning and the first pedals are spinning this Wednesday. Under the Mediterranean sun, participants in the Génération Roc – Sport for All event, dedicated to athletes with physical or intellectual disabilities, kicked off the 41st edition of the Roc d’Azur CIC.

The opening day also featured the Rallye Roc (34 km with four timed stages), the first leg of the Delta Plus Roc Trophy, a stage race with one event per day.

Until Sunday, thousands of riders will be extending the summer in a dream setting — through the Maures and Estérel mountain ranges, in Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël, and Roquebrune-sur-Argens.

On Thursday, the Garmin Roc Masters will open the day’s program. Also on the schedule: the Roc Trail Estérel (29 and 50 km), offering participants a breathtaking journey through the heart of the Estérel massif.

The Mid Roc (35 km, the second stage of the Delta Plus Roc Trophy), the Roc Tandems, and numerous leisure rides will bring energy to the Fréjus Nature Base.

Another highlight: the opening of the Village (10 a.m.), featuring 300 exhibitors, star athletes at various booths, and plenty of activities.
