  • The Roc d’Azur CIC will take place from October 7 to 11. Online registration has been open since Wednesday, February 18

  • Two new packs have been introduced:
    -
“Delta Plus Xtreme Roc,” combining the Roc d’Azur CIC and the Roc Marathon for the ultimate challenge and a combined classification
    -
“Randos Explorer,” offering a 100% MTB ride programme, with routes of your choice
  • Also noteworthy: the 180 km Ekoï Cyclo Roc reaching the Audibergue mountain, trail routes in the Massif des Maures and the Estérel, and enhanced comfort on the final section of the Roc Marathon course
  • The “Canyon Gravel Roc Sprint”: a brand-new explosive and spectacular gravel race, featuring a short and intense format

Roc d’Azur CIC 2026 is officially underway. Online registration for the 42nd edition, taking place from October 7 to 11, has been open since Wednesday, February 18. With 20,000 participants competing across 8 different race categories, 300 exhibitors in a free and open-to-all Village located at the Fréjus Nature Base, and 100,000 expected visitors, Roc d’Azur CIC is the ultimate gathering for all forms of cycling.
The stunning landscapes and challenging routes of the Var region, the Massif des Maures, Fréjus (host city since 1997), Roquebrune-sur-Argens, Saint-Raphaël and the Estérel Côte d’Azur Agglomération contribute each year to the prestige of the event and the enjoyment of its participants.

More races, more challenges, more fun!

For every taste, every age and every ambition. MTB races and rides, electric-assist MTB, road cycling, gravel, trail running, hiking, canicross and cani-MTB (introduced last year), and even the “Kid Roc Draisienne” for children aged two and up — the five days of adventure offer an unrivalled range of activities. Once again this year, participants can register for multiple events with the goal of chasing a trophy, pushing their limits or simply enjoying the challenge. This broad offering appeals to champions such as Romain Bardet and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, who have both competed in the event several times, as well as to amateur riders.

Roc d’Azur CIC and Roc Marathon combine for a triple challenge with the Delta Plus Xtreme Roc!

The succession to Jacob Dorigoni and Gioia Marchet is already open. The Italian winners of the 2025 Roc d’Azur CIC will have the opportunity to shine again in this flagship MTB race and in the traditional Roc Marathon. Participants can also take on this exciting challenge with the “Delta Plus Xtreme Roc” pack, which combines both races with a cumulative classification at stake. Every day and every position will count, further strengthening the sporting appeal.

It is also worth noting that Friday’s schedule has been redesigned to maximise comfort on the final section of the Roc Marathon course, avoiding overlap with the recreational rides to ensure an optimal racing experience.

More new features for greater enjoyment and comfort

There’s a pack for everyone. Recreational MTB riders will also benefit from an enhanced offering with the creation of the “Randos Explorer” pack, providing access to all MTB rides (non-timed events) over five days, allowing participants to build their own schedule. Road cyclists are also making their return with the Ekoï Cyclo Roc over 90, 120 or 180 km, which will include a new section through exceptional scenery (Lac de Saint-Cassien, Massif de l’Estérel, etc.). The 180 km distance will even extend as far as the Audibergue mountain.

The Gravel programme expands on Thursday, October 8, with the “Canyon Gravel Roc Sprint,” a short-format gravel race starting from Roquebrune. Meanwhile, trail enthusiasts will be treated to two routes in the Massif de l’Estérel on Saturday and three more in the Massif des Maures starting from Roquebrune on Sunday.

A full-scale immersion in the heart of exceptional landscapes

Roc d’Azur CIC offers far more than a series of races — it is a true immersion in spectacular scenery between the sea, mountain ranges and red rock formations. From Fréjus, host of the starts and finishes of the Roc d’Azur CIC and the Roc Marathon, to Roquebrune-sur-Argens, which will stage the new “Canyon Gravel Roc Sprint” across the terrain of the Massif des Maures, and on to Saint-Raphaël, the epicenter of cycling and trail events, each course showcases a unique natural playground at the heart of the Massif de l’Estérel. The rides included in the new “Randos Explorer” offer will extend the experience, inviting participants to discover the region from a different perspective across the Estérel Côte d’Azur Agglomération, including for road cycling enthusiasts.

The Village and its 300 exhibitors

Beyond the sporting events, Roc d’Azur CIC is also a place for exchange and discovery, with a free and open-to-all Village: new products, trends, advice and meetings with champions. Partners will be present throughout the event, hosting activities and entertainment to energize each day. More than just a competition, it is a major festive gathering for enthusiasts.
